ABOUT OUR COMPANY >

In 1980 Ptarmigan was born.  Albert Robideau began a carpet cleaning and restoration business while living in Lake Louise.  Following in his brother-in-law’s footsteps, the owner of a successful carpet cleaning and restoration company in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Albert decided to give Lake Louise a try. After years of doing business between the Columbia Valley-Invermere area and the Lake Louise-Banff area,  Albert was ready for retirement.  In 2000, he passed the successful business on to his son-in-law Jason and daughter Tanya Roe.  Albert offers part-time assistance to the Roe’s, as 40 years of knowledge is difficult to replace.

Ptarmigan-Invermere Rug Cleaners has grown to include Restoration, Tile Cleaning, Furnace and Duct cleaning, as the company addresses many insurance claims throughout the Columbia Valley-Invermere area.

ABOUT OUR STAFF >

Jason and Billy both are IICRC accredited. Our staff has taken many courses over the past 20 years.  Staying current with new products, application procedures and industry advancements is key to maintaining our leadership status.

Jason Roe is now a full time Fire Chief with Invermere Fire/Rescue. Jason maintains his IICRC accreditation and assists with jobs when time permits. Tanya and Billy are doing a great job running the business!

The Roe family’s involvement in the business is evolving. Jason and Tanya have two children, Madison (2004) and Brayden (2007). Madison and Brayden Roe are currently assisting with certain jobs within the family business. We are grateful to call the Columbia Valley-Invermere our home; such a beautiful place to raise our children.  Our plan is to continue growing with the Columbia Valley-Inveremere area while maintaining our friendly, small-town service.
